Divided into three regional influences—Middle East, Old World, and New World—this book introduces readers to familiar names like Molly Yeh, Leah Koenig, and Adeena Sussman, while also shining a light on rising stars such as the Ardinast brothers in Germany and Gil Havov in Israel.

More than just a cookbook, Mazel Tov is a culinary journey through tradition and innovation. Each chef shares their personal connection to Jewish food, from family influences to regional flavors that shape their unique interpretations. The recipes range from beloved staples like gefilte fish, kreplach, and pickles to fresh takes on borscht, zhug, kubaneh, and carrot salad. Influences from Tunisian and Yemeni grandmothers add unexpected depth to familiar dishes, making this a must-have for adventurous home cooks.

While the recipes are not strictly kosher, they can be adapted to fit dietary needs, making Mazel Tov a perfect addition to kitchens of all backgrounds—especially those blending traditions.
