Maw Sit Sit - Burma

Maw Sit Sit - straight from the source!

While Maw Sit Sit and Jade share a vibrant green coloration, they differ significantly in composition and appearance. Jade encompasses two mineral varieties: jadeite and nephrite, each with its own unique properties. Maw Sit Sit, on the other hand, is primarily composed of chromite, jadeite, and other minerals, which contribute to its vivid green hue and intricate patterns. Unlike jade, Maw Sit Sit often features swirling patterns and vibrant shades of green, black, and white, creating a striking visual appeal. Additionally, Maw Sit Sit tends to be rarer and less widely known compared to jade.

Maw Sit Sit is found predominantly in Myanmar (Burma), specifically the region of the Himalayas. Myanmar Himalaya is the lower mountain range of southern Himalaya
