Well, I finally got around to finishing them over the summer while the kids were out of school and it just seemed fitting.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShape:\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cbr\u003eSnug fitting, ribbed socks with a little bit of detail\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMaterials:\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cbr\u003eUS size 1 (2.25mm) needles in preferred style for working in the round (or the size needed to obtain gauge) - If using a circular knitting needle, I recommend a minimum 32 inch\/80 cm cable \u003cbr\u003estitch markers (optional) \u003cbr\u003etapestry needle\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eYarn:\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOne skein of fingering weight yarn - The sample was knit in “Fairy Tales \u0026amp; Fantasies” from my hand dyed yarn company, Comfy Cozy Knits on Squishy Sock (80% SW Merino, 20% Nylon - 115 grams, 420 yards)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGauge:\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cbr\u003e32 stitches = 4 inches \/ 10 cm in stockinette stitch (unblocked)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eYardage Requirements:\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cbr\u003eApproximately 235 y to 315 y depending on size knit. The sample was knit in a size Medium and used approximately 275 yards.
